I missed it, so thanks to Gregory the Poor Typist of Type Pals fame for visiting the Grand Opening of Typewriter Muse. The world’s greatest typewriter mechanic, Bob Marshall, has opened up an amazing typewriter showroom and repair shop and typewriter event center in Riverside, California. I can’t wait to visit.

This is a vintage blow-mold plastic angel, likely from the 1960s or 1970s, positioned on a rooftop against a building with distinctive red trim and black siding. This is a cheerful inflatable Christmas penguin standing prominently in the front yard of a classic Spanish Colonial Revival home with cream stucco walls and terracotta tile roofing.
