Sandy and I rarely eat out, so this was quite a treat for us to have breakfast al fresco at the Village Grille.

Sandy and I celebrated our silver wedding anniversary today. A lot of time has passed since then. People have passed away and moved away, but Sandy and I have stayed together. “We’re a good team,” I always remind her. A Silver Anniversary isn’t something everyone gets to celebrate, and this one we’ve cherished.
Sandy and I had a fun trip to Barnes and Noble today, where we mostly browsed through the sales aisle.
It was our first 4th of July in Claremont, so we went out to Memorial Park for the festivities. Sandy enjoyed posing with Uncle Sam. She got a big kick out of posing with Uncle Sam on stilts.
