Photographer and writer Simon Kossoff grew up in Hampshire and Dorset and developed an early interest in photography, starting with a family camera and Polaroids, creating scenes with his Star Wars figures. His photography journey evolved through influences like David Hockney and Harvey Benge, eventually leading to his involvement in various projects, including his Flickr group and blog, Altered States of Agoraphobia, and zines published with Bump Books. After battling addiction and living a nomadic life, Kossoff continues to explore photography’s role in his life, seeing it as a tool for personal reflection and expression.
